Leisure Attendants Required | Casual Contracts | £8.60 Per Hour

 

Park View Community Centre is looking for confident and enthusiastic individuals who can operate as part of a small team. The role will involve evening and weekend work and duties will include but are not limited to:-

 

• assisting with enquiries from potential hirers, hirers and members of the public attending functions or visiting the facilities;

• organising bookings of school facilities;

• working with a computerised booking system;

• the assembly and  dismantling of community centre equipment as required;

• responsibility for opening and locking up the building before and after functions/events, as required;

• greeting guests and liaising with hirers to ensure the smooth running of functions and the provision of best possible service to all users;

• responsibility for all aspects of building safety and security whilst on duty;

• ensuring that all health and safety and fire conditions are complied with by all users.

Shifts will vary, and there may be an opportunity for additional work should the business grow.

 

The ideal candidate must have the ability to work as a team keeping staff up to date with weekly bookings. They must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, and work unsupervised and independently.
